A CLINICAL display of second-half finishing by Basingstoke was the real difference between the sides.
The opening 15 minutes was end to end and only a combination of good goalkeeping and last-ditch blocks kept the scoreline blank.
The Moatsiders took the lead thanks to Aaron Goode’s acrobatic volley, but Goode brought down Wilson and Clark converted the spot-kick.
