KINGS LANGLEY came heartbreakingly close to causing a Trophy upset against National League AFC Telford United, but were to exit in the very last minute when the spectre of penalties looked inevitable.
There was drama from the first minute, when the referee pointed to the spot for a Langley defensive foul, but changed his decision to a free-kick on the edge of the box after consulting his assistant.
The reprieved village side went close with an Alex Lafleur shot that deceived Luke Pilling, but took the lead with a curving Jordan Parkes...
