CITY of Liverpool and Witton Albion played out a draw and both sides will feel they could have won it.
The hosts had the only real chance of the first half. Pete Wylie firing a shot from range, which stung the palms of Ollie Martin in the Witton goal.
The hosts took the lead after 54 minutes. Danny Mitchley was hauled down in the box. John McGrath stepped up and made no mistake.
After the goal, though, it was all Witton, with Ben Barnes in the Purps goal forced to make three good saves.
