WORKSOP TOWN recorded a 12th consecutive league victory with an easy win over North Shields.
Jay Rollins opened the scoring on the half-hour mark as he ran on to Liam Hughes’ reverse pass into the area to place an effort past Liam Hodgson.
Hughes then went from provider to scorer as he chested Josh Wilde’s cross into his path and, after outmuscling Tom Bexton, Hughes rifled the ball past the keeper. On the stroke of half-time, centre-half Jack Broadhead netted his fifth goal in as many games as he smashed home a clearance from a corner.
