THE form book held true as the league’s best defence comfortably beat the league’s worst attack in a low-quality affair.
Charlie Lambert hit a post in the first couple of minutes for the visitors as they started brightly, but it was a horrendous Corinthian mistake that led to Dos Jerson opening the scoring in the 24th minute as he ran through unchallenged and slotted past Daniel Colmer.
Corinthian showed a little more promise in the second half, but did not look like threatening Luke Glover in the Hawks goal.
