KURT Willoughby’s fabulous early strike ensured Chester extended their unbeaten league run to ten matches with a gritty, if unspectacular, win over strugglers Blyth Spartans on Friday night.
Willoughby took just seven minutes to deliver his 18th goal of the campaign, collecting a delightful through ball from on-loan midfielder Charlie Caton before brushing off the advances of his marker and placing a pinpoint effort low past Spartans keeper Alex Mitchell.
