THE form book went out of the window as second-place Stockton Town were surprisingly beaten by eighth-place Long Eaton United.
Long Eaton took the lead just two minutes into the game when Luke Cox headed the ball past
Patrick Boyes to give the visitors an early lead.
The Blues doubled their lead just before the break when a mix-up in the Stockton defence allowed Tom Cursons to take possession of the ball before rounding Boyes to score.
