■ A LATE Carl Pearce goal sealed Southall’s come-back to take a point.
It looked like being a disas trous day for Southall when goalkeeper Michael Edegbe was injured in the warm-up and defender Jack Roper had to play in goal.
The first half was dominated by the home side and Anthony O’Connor put them ahead after 19 minutes.
After half-time, Merstham threw everything forward and scored three times in 12 minutes through Peter Adeniyi and Bryan Zepp (2).
