WESTERN MERGER TOO LATE TO SAVE ATLANTIC

THE final five-division format of the new Western Peninsula League has been unveiled.
But it came too late to save South West Peninsula Premier West side Godolphin Atlantic, who became the latest club to dis band this week.
From August, the existing Western and the South West Peninsula leagues will be merged into one new competition, covering the area between Bristol and Land’s End.
