BELPER Town slumped to a disappointing home defeat to Nantwich Town, a win being the minimum requirement for league survival.
A heavy pitch made life difficult for both sides and Harry Middleton’s error after nine minutes could have led to a goal for Belper, but the Dabbers managed to block three consecutive shots.
Belper went ahead after 21 minutes when Dabbers keeper Thomas Scott made a present of the ball to James Tague who slotted it neatly into the goal.
