MITCH BRUNDLE says outgoing Dover Athletic boss Andy Hessenthaler’s blessing was all he needed to take on his first managerial role at the age of 28.
The vastly-experienced Hessenthaler’s return to Gillingham as head of recruitment gave his former assistant the chance to step up, becoming the youngest manager in the top six levels of English football.
