BLYTH SPARTANS picked up a huge win in Warwickshire to boost their hopes of escaping the bottom four and dragging Leamington ever closer to it in the process.
The first half belonged to the hosts but they contrived to head into the dressing room a goal and a man down.
Dan Turner crossed for Liam Cross to force a save from Spartans keeper Alex Mitchell. The stopper did well again shortly afterwards when faced with Jack Edwards in a similar position, doing well to block the shot.
