UXBRIDGE and Sutton Common Rovers failed to improve their positions at the wrong end of the table as they played out a goalless stalemate.
Eitel Goueth had a good early chance for Uxbridge but he was off target The game’s big talking point was the 48th-minute dismissal of Rovers leftback Matthew Tanton for a foul. Those close to the incident thought the red card was harsh.
James Dillon then made two brilliant saves for the ten men, keeping out an effort from Eitel Goueth, and saving an attempt from Mark Bitmead.
