SAM SMART’S second-half goal proved the difference for Brackley Town.
Both sides had found goals hard to come by, so a goalless halftime score was no surprise after an even first 45.
The closest to a goal came when Jordan Cullinane-Liburd, at a stretch, deflected Connor Woods’ cross, bringing an excellent save from Brackley keeper Danny Lewis.
