FORMER Thackley boss Patrick McGuire has been appointed as the new manager of Northern Counties East Premier side Frickley Athletic.
McGuire, who spent five years at Thackley until his departure in January, has named Bradford Park Avenue head of scouting and recruitment analyst Blake Campbell as his assistant. .
He fills the gap by the resignation of Wayne Benn, who quit after Frickley failed to win in eight games.
Caretaker manager Martin Beaumont will resume his duties as Frickley’s under 23s boss.
