MERSTHAM’S impressive unbeaten run extended to seven games with a workmanlike win over an Ashford side who are currently in free-fall.
Merstham began the game well and should have gone ahead in the second minute, but Zepo blazed wide.
The chances were few and far between as the game became a turgid midfield battle.
