FIN Sinclair-Smith’s firsthalf strike put Bamber Bridge at the head of the pack chasing South Shields at the top of the league.
The visitors came close to taking the lead in the opening minute. Rowan Roache found himself in behind the Nantwich defence, but his effort was saved low down by Dabbers’ keeper Thomas Booth.
The Dabbers’ first chance came in the 18th minute when a Stevie Hewitt free-kick was saved well by Felix Goddard.
