WARE’S hopes of a playoff place were hit, as for the fourth time this season they let a two-goal lead slip from their grasp.
They led at half-time thanks to two goals from former Hadley player Theo Ofori, and he might have had a hat-trick, but for a fluke save after the break – Luke Ward dived to block his shot which somehow hit his leg with the keeper unsighted and none the wiser.
