THAME United came from behind to defeat Kempston Rovers to be almost clear of the relegation dogfight.
Greg Hackett fired over for Thame, but there was little to excite the crowd until late in the first half when a Kempston breakaway ended with a low cross being turned in by Dean Dummett.
Nine minutes after the break, David Pearce’s deep free-kick was headed home by George Gilmore, but the goalscorer suffered a serious arm injury a few minutes later.
With 20 minutes to go, Dan West headed home a Harlem Hale cross.
