PROMOTION-chasing Larkfield & New Hythe have appointed Danny Lye and Mick Phillips as their new management duo following the resignation of long-serving Kris Browning. 
Browning quit after the second-placed side lost 1-0 at Staplehurst Monarchs on Wednesday, further denting their hopes of catching leaders Snodland Town.
Lye took Ashford Town to the Premier Division title in 2017, while Phillips has been head coach at Hythe Town. They will work alongside the existing backroom team of Shaun Holland, Kevin Brown and Mark Irvine.
