Red kites flew for the Daniels
Over yellow grasses, with hues of green, red kites flew in the skies,
with their tail forks, feathers red, brown and white. Stamford, the Daniels,
rose to fight, and in silver light birds took flight when red kites flew in the skies.
A bird of prey, a species lost, but seen today, and where cows could chew the cud, daffodils
rose from bud, as men trod in boots with stud, as red kites flew in the skies.
