■ NEW Salamis ended Stowmarket Town’s slim play-off hopes with a threegoal second-half barrage that turned a deficit into victory at a sunny Coles Park.
In the first half, everything seemed to go to plan for the visitors as they took the lead with an early goal from Kieran Morley.
After the break, however, it was one-way traffic in Salamis’s favour – with a delicious family twist.
It started with Maleace Asamoah levelling matters after 53 minutes and, five minutes later, his father Derek Asamoah made it 2–1.
