THE Southern Combination plans to host the first-ever Sussex groundhop in October.
The event, being organised in conjunction with GroundhopUK, will be based around up to seven games over one weekend, including Sunday games and a Friday night fixture.
League director and Hop organiser Terry Doyle said: “I have attended many ground hops and they are always professionally run and great fun. “We have a wide and varied portfolio of grounds in the Southern Combination all run by volunteers who will make everyone welcome throughout.”
