STEVE McKimm has been “asked to step down” as manager of Carshalton Athletic.
The 47-year-old joined the Isthmian Premier Robins last May following his shock sacking by Tonbridge Angels after eight years in charge.
But the former Ebbsfleet and Farnborough player has not had the desired affect at Colston Avenue with the club ensconced in mid-table and failing to mount a play-off challenge.
