GOALS from Ashton Grant and Kieran Gauthier saw Barton Rovers retain their Step 4 status with a 2-0 home win over ten-man Thetford Town.
Both had spells of dominance early on, though Joshua Adeyileka’s clever pass to Grant went unrewarded after three minutes before Jemale Mckenzie-Lowe hit the post ten minutes later.
Emmanuel Machaya similarly smashed the crossbar with an effort five minutes later, though Grant made amends for his earlier miss with the opener four minutes into the second-half.
