HORNCHURCH and Cray gave spectators their money’s worth in a nip-and-tuck affair that also went the distance – the Urchins edging into Monday’s showdown over local rivals Aveley.
Sam Higgins opened the scoring for the hosts when a Tom Wraight free
kick was nodded down to Liam Nash who found the league’s top scorer to fire in from close range.
