EIGHT FANS GIVEN BLUES BANS

EIGHT football fans have been issued with indefinite club bans from Chester FC following the crowd disorder which marred the club’s National League North play-off semi-final with Brackley Town last Sunday.
Cheshire Police launched an investigation after fans invaded the pitch, threw smoke bombs and tried to storm the away end following their 1-0 defeat at the Deva Stadium.
Witnesses told of a five-year-old boy with blood pouring from his head with Brackley boss Gaz Dean revealing how children were “petrified for their safety”.
