New boss Gavin Cowan says it’s clear that Brackley Town don’t need a big overhaul in order to bounce back from their promotion near-miss – but he’ll be looking to make his own mark on the St James’ Park hotseat.
The former AFC Telford United boss has been assisting interim player/ boss Gaz Dean since the departure of Roger Johnson on April 8.
Captain Dean made it clear he didn’t want the job permanently despite leading his side to the National League North promotion final where they lost to Kidderminster Harriers last Sunday.
