I AGREE with Chris Dunlavy (NLP, May 14) when he suggested that the Footbal League playoffs should all be one leg, at home of the higher-placed team, as they are in Non-League.
I think it is wrong for the likes of Luton Town, Sheffield Wednesday and Stockport County, who finished just below the promotion places, to play two legs. They should be rewarded with hosting the semi-finals over a single leg.
