TV BLOOPER: Chesterfield v Bromley was cut short by BT Sport

AFTER reading Stuart Haynes’ letter (Fans Forum, May 14) about BT Sport cutting off the final minute of the Chesterfield v Bromley play-off semi-final, it got me thinking.
Does anyone remember when ITV missed Dan Gosling’s goal for Everton against Liverpool in a 2009 FA Cup match by going into an ad break?
All I can say is thank God it didn’t happen at the Chesterfield v Bromley match – especially if there had been a longgasp equaliser and subsequent penalty shootout!
