CHELMSFORD were frustrated by a resolute Hampton & Richmond as the Beavers picked up their first point of the season.
Chelmsford were controversially denied the opener when a flowing move led to Adam Mills squaring the ball for Callum Jones to tap in but the assistant referee flagged for offside.
City took the lead on 26 minutes when Hampton’s Shane Dunne was robbed in possession by Ruff who squared for Jazzi Barnum-Bobb to flick to Jones to bury the ball into the bottom left-hand corner of the net.
