FA CUP fever swept through the northern edge of Dartmoor last Saturday when Okehampton Argyle relished their debut in the world famous competition.
The Step 6 South West Peninsula League Premier East outfit carried out a great deal of pre-match promotional work for their first ever tie, against Brixham, and were rewarded with a bumper crowd of 483 for the extra-preliminary round 2-2 draw – seriously impressive numbers for a town containing just under 6,000 inhabitants.
