LOWESTOFT taught the Steelmen a lesson as Jake Reed netted a hat-trick for the Trawlermen.
It was evenly balanced for most of the first half, but a physical game saw a few early substitutes and the added time at the end of the first half gave Reed the chance to put the visitors ahead.
With Corby trailing by only the one goal, they fought to get a grip in the game but Kyle Haylock doubled the scoreline after 50 minutes.
