OSSETT UNITED were not able to build on the three points won at Ashington on Tuesday night as Stockton Town proved to be just too strong at Ingfield.
Things were against United from before kick off as new signing Kelan Swales picked up an injury in the warm up and had to be replaced in the starting line-up.
Stockton started the quicker of the two and had the better chances in the first half.
