A FINE showing from Sol Solomon made it three league wins on the spin for Marine and put hapless Stafford Rangers to the sword.
After going five unbeaten, taking into account their FA Cup exploits, the Mariners never looked likely to surrender the points in an assured display. Though neither side could grasp a foothold in the opening ten minutes, it was the hosts who should have hit the front when Nathan Blissett dragged wide, before Joe Willis struck an arching drive that inched away from the far post within a matter of minutes.
