DIDCOT recorded a priceless victory in stultifying conditions at the Loop Meadow.
The previously winless Railwaymen put in their best defensive display of the season to date but still had to rely on their Hampshire opponents’ profligacy from the penalty spot to eke out the points.
The game’s only goal came from the first opportunity either side created. Neat Didcot build-up play saw the ball squeezed through to Seth Humphries, who worked himself space, before executing a slide-rule finish into the bottom-right corner...
