CHESTER manager Calum McIntyre says he couldn’t guarantee summer signing Zak Goodson as the young striker returned to Ilkeston Town.
The 23-year-old, who scored 34 goals in 48 appearances at the Robins, only joined the National League North Blues in the summer from Altrincham.
McIntyre said: “Zak has indicated that he feels he needs guaranteed first team football at present and this was something I would not commit to at this moment in time.
“I have enjoyed working with Zak since the start of pre-season and would like to genuinely wish him all the best.” ...
