A LATE consolation goal from Will Longbottom did very little to cheer up Avenue fans as Workington returned to Cumbria with all three points.
It was the hosts who started the brighter with several crosses into the area that couldn’t find a Bradford head. But on 15 minutes Workington broke forward in numbers with Steven Rigg the final recipient of the ball to slot home past George Sykes-Kenworthy in the Bradford goal.
