■HYTHE TOWN’S motorway travails to reach Chertsey Town were soon swept aside as they took an early two-goal lead.
The first in the 21st minute came from the penalty spot thanks to Frannie Collin’s strike following the dismissal of Rob Sheridan. Number two came soon after from Ethan Smith.
Hythe were totally in command so it was no surprise when they scored a third on the stroke of half-time when a low strike from Kane Phillip beat the keeper.
