WARE rescued a point deep into added time and while it may have been a reward for a spirited fight back, Thame will wonder how they didn’t take all three points home.
The visitors played fast and accurately and, if not for Fred Burbidge in the home goal, could well have won by a comfortable margin.
Thame were two goals ahead before Ware pulled themselves into contention before the break.
Ware shuffled their line up in the second half and looked better but even so Thame restored their two goal lead after five minutes...
