AFC Stamford came from behind to beat AFC Sudbury away from home – despite the hosts putting up a valiant fight.
Both teams began the game slowly, Sudbury dominating the ball, but Stanford having the best opportunity in the early stages, Bradbrook denying the visitors a goal inside two minutes.
However, it was the team starting the day lower in the table that took the lead. On the edge of the box, interim captain Romario Dunne fired into the bottom corner spectacularly.
