LOWESTOFT survived a late Grays Athletic comeback to hold on for a win that keeps their table-topping position.
The sides traded penalties in the first 20 minutes, both for rather soft challenges, with Sam Bantick for Grays equalising Harvey Sayer’s spot kick for Lowestoft a few minutes earlier.
A relatively uneventful first half was closed out by the visitors regaining the lead when Jake Read fired home.
