AN entertaining FA Trophy tie went Hyde’s way with two-goal Jack Redshaw leading the way.
But Workington – who made eight changes from the side which beat FC United last week and included five teenagers – were in contention until Hyde’s third goal nine minutes from the end.
The first chance of the game fell to Hyde’s Antoine Makoli and home keeper Danny Eccles, playing his first game since breaking a leg in pre-season, made a fine reflex stop.
