■ GOALS in either half helped Bamber Bridge progress to the next round.
Within the first two minutes of the game, the visitors went 1-0 up after a headed goal from Mark Cullen.
Despite being a goal down after a couple of minutes and not doing much in the early stages of the first half, it was Bootle who went into half time with the most chances.
