SOUTHALL won the battle of the two in-form sides to keep themselves well in the title fight.
Billy Montague opened the scoring with a wellplaced finish, despite protests from the crowd that he was offside.
After the break, the Field looked the better side and this dominance paid off as skipper Luke Elliott found the back of the net following a scramble in the box.
