■ HANLEY TOWN put in a disciplined performance to claim a single-goal victory away at Runcorn Linnets.
The hosts enjoyed the majority of the performance and thought they had a stone-wall penalty when Reece Jones appeared to have handled the ball in the area.
The pattern of play continued in the second half as Hanley continued to thwart Linnett’s attacks. Against the run of play the visitors scored - Ty Ofori slotting the ball low past Bayleigh Passant after 66 minutes.
