■ THE WEATHER again impacted the Northern League programme with 12 games across the two divisions off due to waterlogged pitches.
The top two in the first division both got their home games on and Bishop Auckland displaced unbeaten leaders Shildon at the top on goal difference.
Rampant Bishops slammed winless Tow Law 12-0 in front of a crowd of 354 at Heritage Park. They were seven up at the break as the Lawyers failed to put up a case for the defence. Marcus Giles and Louis Johnson both helped themselves to hat-tricks.
