■ HADLEY took the spoils in this Hertfordshire derby. A frantic opening saw Langley awarded a penalty, a decision which mystified everyone. But Rene Howe’s spotkick was ruled out for an infringement in his run-up.
Parity was soon broken when Rayan Clarke capitalised on a mix up in the Hadley backline, rolling the ball into an empty net.
Hadley deservedly equalised on 35 minutes, Luke Alfano slamming home from 12 yards after an inch-perfect cut back from Isaac Stones.
