BIDEFORD were good value for a win which lifts them to the fringes of the play-offs, while Bashley’s worrying slide continues.
Beaten 6-0 last week, the hosts were looking for a bounce-back, but they were denied by hard-working Bideford who always looked in control.
They scored twice in four minutes midway through the first half – first through Aaron Taylor from Alex Byrne’s corner – and Matt Buchan, who found space in the penalty area to fire in from the right.
