George Shrieves hit a hat-trick, in the 27th, 47th and 64th minutes, to keep Milton Keynes Irish two points behind Bedford with a 3-0 win at Aylesbury Vale Dynamos.
Luke Beckwith and Rio Beach gave Leverstock Green a 2-0 lead at home to play-off rivals FC Romania before Zenon Stylianades pulled one back from the spot. George Mitchell-Gears made it 3-1 and the hosts hung on for a 3-2 win.
